Where your data lives

Your primary customer data and the smartNsales production database are hosted in Zurich, Switzerland. Switzerland remains the primary data-residency location for the platform.

Certain smartNsales features, including AI-powered functionality, may require limited relevant data to be processed by approved technology providers. We minimise the information shared to what is necessary for the requested feature, and apply contractual, technical and organisational safeguards to that processing.

Customer data is not used to train third-party foundation models. Where international processing is required, appropriate data-protection safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable Swiss and European data-protection law.

AI processing

smartNsales is designed to keep customer data under control. When an AI feature is used, only the relevant context required to fulfil the request is sent to approved AI providers, rather than exposing the entire customer workspace.

AI providers are governed through our vendor and data-processing controls, and customer data is not used to train their foundation models.

Data protection

smartNsales is designed to meet the requirements of the GDPR and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). Data protection is treated as a platform requirement rather than a feature.

Access control

Commercial data is among the most sensitive information a brand holds: pricing, agreements, negotiation history. Access is controlled at workspace level so people see the accounts and activities relevant to their role.

Certification roadmap

ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications are currently underway. We report progress honestly rather than implying certifications we do not yet hold.
